New Tree Donor Program
Trees are a unique and green gift that provides enjoyment for generations to come.
Pekin Park Foundation's Tree Donor Program provides opportunities for meaningful tributes to family or friends, in honor of the birth of a child, birthday, wedding or anniversary, Mother's Day gift or other special occasion, or for memorializing the loss of a loved one.Tree plantings are needed in many park locations including McNaughton Park, Lick Creek or Parkview Golf Courses, or the new Sports Complex (bordered by 5th and Koch Streets). The Superintendent of Parks will work with you to select the area best suited and the type of tree to be planted. Plantings are done in the spring and fall.Tree cost is $200.00 or more. The donor receives a Commemorative Certificate and Tree Planting Document that includes a photo of your tree with the GPS coordinates. Your tree information is included in the Park District Tree Donor Record Book and on the Pekin Park Foundation website (Donations may remain anonymous if you choose). Pekin Park Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit nongovernmental entity. Gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible.
Your gift provides the community with a gift of nature that will benefit the area for years to come.
